Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Platforms & Editions

Check PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2 editions, distinguish the expansion from a bundle, and avoid buying for the wrong Dragon’s Dogma game.

Quick Answer

Capcom lists PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, with an announced release date of October 9, 2026. Existing players should check the expansion; new players should compare the bundle containing the base game.

What should I check before choosing?

Situation	Storefront check
Own Dragon’s Dogma 2	Add-on matches the platform, account and base game.
New player	Package explicitly includes base game and expansion.
Buying for Switch 2	Listing is for Switch 2; Capcom describes a combined package.
Own the earlier Dark Arisen	That is a different game, not ownership of Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Check current regional details before purchase. This page does not claim cross-buy, cross-save or a specific frame rate.

Does supported mean guaranteed performance?

A platform announcement establishes availability, not performance on a particular PC or console mode. The collected PC scrape lacks a dependable requirements table, and part of the PS5 scrape contains an access-denied response. Those gaps have not been filled with guessed requirements or benchmarks.

Where should I go after installing?

Use the Brant starting guide to begin the correct quest. Returning PC players should also check mod compatibility.

If comparing reviews, check which product the score describes. A base-game or other-platform score does not become an expansion score because the names look similar.
